Use this when you want to parametrically rotate a geometry around its vertical axis within a flow, for example orienting a building or element to face a specific direction.
Inputs
Name | Abbreviation | Type | Access | Description |
Cartesian | C | Cartesian | Item | The geometry to rotate |
Angle | A | Number | Item | The angle to rotate by |
Center | C | Vector | Item | The center of the rotation |
Outputs
Name | Abbreviation | Type | Access | Description |
Cartesian | C | Cartesian | Item | The rotated geometry |
How to
Feed in a geometry
Can be directly from read feature, or from any operation that creates geometry.
Feed in an angle as a number value
This can be from number or any mathematical node that outputs a number
By default, the geometry will rotate around its centroid. If you want the geometry to rotate around a different point, feed in a vector point.
The output is the rotated geometry
