This article is for charity admin users only. You'll need to have been added as an admin on your charity's givestar account to make these changes.
What can I update myself?
You can update the content supporters see on your public givestar profile, including your:
Profile image — your logo, which also appears on your Charity Admin homepage
Banner image — the large header image at the top of your public profile
Display name — the name supporters see when they find you
Address — your charity's contact address
About — the paragraph telling supporters about your cause and your work
How to update your charity profile
Log in to charityadmin.givestar.io
Select Charity Profile from the left-hand menu
Click into the field you'd like to change, or upload a new image
Save your changes
Visit your charity's page on givestar.io to check everything looks right
Why are some fields greyed out?
Some details, such as your registered charity number and registered charity name, are locked. This protects your charity's official details and makes sure they always match your registration.
If any of these details need to change, email support@givestar.io with:
Your charity name and registration number
The detail that needs changing, and what it should say
Your role at the charity
We may ask for proof of the change (for example, an updated entry on the Charity Commission register) before updating your account.
Tips for a great profile
Use a clear, high-quality logo so supporters recognise you straight away
Choose a banner image that shows your work in action
Keep your About section short and specific — what you do, who you help, and what a donation achieves
Having trouble?
Changes aren't showing on your public profile — refresh the page or try a different browser, as an older version may be cached
Image won't upload — try a smaller file in JPG or PNG format. If it still won't upload, contact us at support@givestar.io
