After a quick set-up, Autocharge feature allows users to simply plug-in their vehicle to an Electra charging point to launch their charging sessions.
⚙️ Identification of the vehicle
For Autocharge to work, you need to enter your vehicle in the app and make sure it's compatible with Autocharge. Which means its one of its IDs, the VID, has to be permanent and unique.
Some automakers only supply their vehicles with a random VID. Unfortunately these are not compatible with Autocharge.
💡Vehicle compatibility is therefore beyond Electra's control
🚙 How can I know if a vehicle is compatible?
For the feature to be suggested in the app, you need to enter the vehicle model and version.
✅ Once your vehicle has been added, you'll get a blue insert to advise you that Autocharge can be set up.
❌ If the blue insert doesn't appear, it means the vehicle added isn't compatible with Autocharge.
