❓ What happened?
As part of a partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Electra, approximately 40 Mercedes-Benz charging hubs in Germany and Austria joined the Electra network on 1 November 2026.
These stations are now operated by Electra and form part of the Electra network.
🔌 How can I start a charging session?
If you are a Mercedes-Benz subscriber, you can continue to start your sessions with your MB.CHARGE Public charging card, the Mercedes-Benz app or Plug & Charge.
You can also download the Electra app and benefit from Electra’s tariffs, subscribe to Electra+, activate Autocharge and order an Electra charging card for use across many networks.
Bank card payment is also available at the terminal on the charging station, as are charging cards from other operators.
💡 Charging cards that were previously accepted at these stations remain available, except for: Eponet AG, Berkman Energy Services, FLYYT GmbH, EV.analytica, Hrvatski Telekom, EVVAI.
📅 Can I still book these charging stations via Mercedes-Benz?
Yes! You can still book these stations from your vehicle’s Head Unit and through the Mercedes-Benz app 15 minutes before your estimated arrival time.
🆕 You can now also book charging points across the entire Electra network.
💰 What is the price at these stations now?
When charging with Electra, the price is €0.54/kWh through the Electra app and €0.69/kWh when paying by bank card at the payment terminal. With an Electra+ subscription, you can get up to €0.20/kWh off the app price 🤓
If you are an MB.CHARGE Public user, please check the Mercedes-Benz app or website, or contact Mercedes-Benz Customer Service, for any questions about your subscription and tariff.
If you use a charging card from another operator, we recommend checking the current pricing with your provider.
💡 Overstay fees may apply.
