What VEOC does
The Virtual Emergency Operations Centre (VEOC) is where your team works an incident together. One session per emergency: mobilize responders in seconds, brief them on arrival, and run communications, ICS documentation, mapping, and reporting from a single dashboard. It stands in for a physical EOC or Incident Command Post when your people are scattered across sites, offices, and vehicles.
VEOC is a module of H2CommandCentre. Sign in once and pick VEOC from your application list. If you do not see it, your system administrator or H2Safety controls access. See Sign in to H2CommandCentre.
The session is the unit of work
Everything in VEOC happens inside a session. A credentialed user creates a session for an incident, invites the response team, and every message, file, form, and decision from that point lands on the session record. When the incident is over, the session closes and its full history stays available as reports.

What you get inside a session
Forum: the live communications channel. General, Urgent, Direct, and Private messages, plus file and photo sharing.
Breakout Rooms: focused side conversations that stay on the official record.
ICS Forms: ICS Canada forms to download, fill, upload, and version-track.
Organizational Chart: who holds which position, exportable to PDF.
Emergency Assessment Matrix: assign a Level of Emergency to the session.

Reports: attendance and session logs, available while the session runs.
Configurable dashboard: arrange the panes, clocks, and message filters your way.
Incident Action Plan features
An IAP licence adds the Incident Action Plan toolset: location check-in, objectives and operational periods, structured breakout rooms, auto-generated ICS 201 forms, form approvals, and the Status Board. No IAP licence, no IAP menu.
Web and mobile
VEOC runs in the browser and in the H2CommandCentre mobile app, so field responders carry the session in their pocket. Task articles flag mobile differences as they come up; Use VEOC on your phone covers the mobile-only pieces.
What you see depends on your role
Initiators and Administrators get session controls (rename, end, manage users) that regular users do not. Observers can watch but not post. See Understand roles and permissions.
