The setup guide is the card near the top of your Atlas dashboard, titled Setup guide. It tracks five things to do in your first weeks and shows how many you have completed. It is a checklist rather than a requirement: Atlas works whether or not you finish it, and nothing is locked behind it.
The five steps
Each step has a Proceed button that takes you straight to the right screen.

The card shows your progress as {current} / {total} completed, and a step ticks off on its own once you have done the thing it describes. There is no way to mark a step complete manually, and no need to: the guide reads your actual store.
What the steps are actually measuring
Two of the steps are worded in a way that does not match what Atlas actually checks for.
Publish your store means at least one Atlas page has been published into a theme. A page saved as a draft does not count. If you built pages and saved them without publishing, this step stays open.
Publish product bundles means at least one bundle has been set to Active and its offers are live. A bundle saved as a draft does not count, and neither does an active bundle whose block has not been added to your theme, because customers cannot see it.
ℹ️ If a step will not tick off and you are sure you did it, the usual cause is a draft rather than a published item. Check the status badge on the row in your Projects list.
Dismissing and snoozing
Select the options menu on the card, labelled Setup guide options, for two choices:
Snoozehides the guide for now and brings it back later.Dismissremoves the guide from your dashboard.
Both are safe. Dismissing the guide does not affect your store, your pages, or your subscription. It only hides the card.
If dismissing fails you will see Couldn't dismiss the setup guide. Please try again. Refresh the page and try once more.
💡 If the guide is in your way but you have not finished it, snooze rather than dismiss. Snoozing keeps the progress visible for later, and the remaining steps are a reasonable order to work through.
