Marketplace is where you turn your home-value portal into a lead source. Homeowners want to know what their place is worth — Marketplace lets you put that offer in front of them and capture the ones who engage. The sign-up widget is one of these tools: a floating "get your home value" button you add to your own website.
What it is
The sign-up widget is an overlay that embeds on any page you own. A visitor taps the floating button, sees a branded "Know your home's value" prompt, and signs up — landing in Homsie as a new lead. It works on any website, whether you use a builder like Webflow, Squarespace, or WordPress, or your own custom HTML.
Build and publish it
Open Marketplace and find the Sign-up widget template. Click Customize.
2. Style the widget in the Editor. The live preview on the right shows your changes as you make them — toggle between Desktop and Mobile to check both.
3. Adjust any of the widget's options:
Button color — the colour of the main call-to-action button (e.g. "Track my home value").
Icon color / button text — the colour of the button's text and icon.
Background color — the background colour of the widget card.
Text color — the colour of the widget's body text.
Floating button icon — the icon shown on the small floating button that sits on your site.
Floating button placement — where that floating button appears on the page.
Default state — whether the widget is open or collapsed when someone first lands on the page.
4. When it looks right, click Save to keep your changes, then Publish to deploy them. The "Changes not deployed" note is a reminder that you have edits that haven't gone live yet — Publish clears it.
Add it to your website
Publishing in Homsie makes the widget ready — but it only appears once you've placed its code on your own site.
Click Copy embed code to open the embed panel, then Copy code.
Paste the snippet into your site's HTML, just before the closing
</body>tag.Save and publish your site. The widget appears automatically once you've published it in Homsie.
This last step is what makes it real. Customizing and publishing inside Homsie doesn't put anything on your website — the widget only shows up once the embed code is on your site and your site is published. If it's not appearing, this is almost always why.
