When a homeowner signs up through your landing page, sign-up widget or a QR code, Homsie decides who owns that new lead. You set a default for your whole team in Settings, and you can override it on any landing page, widget or QR code.
Set your team's default
Only admins can change this setting.
Open Settings. Click your profile at the bottom left of the sidebar.
Find New Lead Routing. It's in your organization settings, below Face of the Company.
Pick who gets new leads. With Follow Up Boss connected, the default is Unassigned (default). Without it, the default is Default, which sends landing page leads to your Face of the Company. You can also choose any agent on your team.
Save. Click Save Organization Settings.
Override it for a landing page or widget
Open the editor. In Marketplace, click Customize on the Landing page or Sign-up widget template.
Open Lead routing. In the Editor, expand Lead routing.
Choose an option. Under Assign new leads to, pick Default (organization setting), Unassigned or an agent.
Publish. Your choice takes effect when you publish the landing page or widget.
Override it for a QR code
Open the code. In Marketplace, open QR code, click Customize and select the code.
Choose an option. Expand Lead routing and pick an option under Assign new leads to. For a code that opens your landing page, Default (landing page setting) follows your landing page. For a code that opens Portal sign-up, Default (organization setting) follows Settings.
Save. Click Save.
What each option does
Unassigned: available once Follow Up Boss is connected. Leads go into Follow Up Boss unassigned so your lead flow runs. Whoever claims the lead in Follow Up Boss becomes the owner in Homsie within about a minute.
An agent: new leads are assigned to that agent in Homsie and Follow Up Boss.
Default: passes the decision up a level. A QR code follows your landing page (if it opens one), and a landing page or widget follows New Lead Routing in Settings.
Good to know
The most specific setting wins: a QR code's choice comes first, then your landing page or widget, then Settings.
If an agent you picked leaves your team, the option shows Selected agent (no longer active). Choose someone else so new leads don't fall back to the default.
If you disconnect Follow Up Boss, any setting on Unassigned is skipped and the next level decides. It shows as Unassigned (Follow Up Boss disconnected) until you change it.
