System Release Notes for 8 April 2025

Updated over 12 months ago

New Features and Enhancements

Reassign Managers | Remove Manager button

A 'Remove Manager' button has been added to the Reassign Managers page. This allows a user's assigned injuries to be removed in bulk, so that the user can be deleted, without needing to reassign the injuries to another user first.

Medical Certificate Approval Improvements

A new Account System Setting has been added; 'Certificate Approval non-mandatory', which appears when the 'Approve Certificates' account setting is enabled.

When the 'Certificate Approval non-mandatory' account setting is enabled:

  • Users will no longer be required to select an Approval option when adding a Medical Certificate.

  • Clicking on a selected Approval option again will unselect it.

Scroll bar in Workplace Panel

A scroll bar has been added to the Workplace panel to help navigate large Workplace structures. This allows you to see the details of the selected Workplace without having to scroll all the way back to the top.

WA Scheme Liability Statuses

The Liability Status list for WA Scheme Policies (non Self Insurance) has been updated to match the 2024 regulator update.

Self Insurance | Edit Claim Number

Users who have access to the Claim Data page are now able to edit a record's Claim Number, as long as the Claim Data was added since the last Submission for that Policy. Only Claims that that not yet been included in a Submission file can be edited.

This allows for a quick edit where the initial value may have been saved in error.

NSW Self Insurance | Untick 'Claim Made'

Users with access to the Claim Data page are now able to uncheck the Claim Made checkbox if needed. The Liability Status may need to be update depending on what the Liability Status was set to.

Further information can be found in NSW SI: Claim Made at Date.

NSW Self Insurance | Usual Worker Address Prepopulation

The 'Usual Workplace Address' field on the NSW Claim Data page now pre-populates from the person's Work Address if the Workplace's Address is blank.

VIC Self Insurance | Default Submission Specification

When adding a VIC EDT submission, 5.5.1 is now the default Specification.

VIC Self Insurance | IME Examiner Name Validation

Added validation to the 'IME Examiner Name' field on the VIC SI Claim Data and Multiple Injuries pages, to match the specs:

  • The field can only contain letters and spaces

  • The field has a max length of 40 characters

The submission checker was also updated.

Bug Fixes

HR Import | Continued Improvements

Further updates to the HR data importer to reduce the instance of import errors for large files.

Injured Worker Breadcrumbs

Before: The breadcrumb on the Add Injured Worker page was incorrect - it was showing "app.injuredWorkerDetail > Add Injured Worker".

After: Breadcrumbs labelled correctly.

Field Validation Highlighting Issues

Before: For the following fields, the highlighting didn't change from red to green once a valid value was entered or the field was no longer required. Users had to click Save in order to refresh the highlighting. The validation message also didn't disappear until the user clicked Save.

  • Contact > Phone (Mobile)

  • Injury Details > Occupation

After: Bug fixed. The validation message and highlighting for these fields are now consistent with other fields in the system.

Trinity Initial Notification | Injury Description Issue

Before: On the Trinity Initial Notification form, the 'Tell us briefly how the injury occurred?' field was pre-populating from the Incident Description field, but then was saving to the Injury Description field.

After: Bug fixed.

Self Insurance Legal Pages | Custom User Types

Before: When Custom UserTypes were granted access to the Legal page, they would get an orange toastie for SI policytypes.

After: Bug fixed. Orange toastie will not occur. The Impairment fields will be disabled if the usertype doesn't have the ability to edit Permanent Impairments.

Comcare & QLD Self Insurance | Injured Worker Popup

Before: The Injured Worker Details pop-up was too small to display all the data, so users had to scroll down to access the buttons.

After: The pop-up is now large enough on normal-sized screens to display all data and buttons without needing to scroll.

Comcare Self Insurance | Power Reports Comcare Claims Object

Before: The Comcare Claims object in Power Reports was including some voided/deleted data, which meant the numbers in the report were incorrect.

After: Bug fixed. Voided/deleted data is excluded.

Also, the 'Incapacity - Hours Lost' now displays in hours rather than minutes.

NSW Self Insurance | SIRA Notification Only Checkbox

Before: Some 'SIRA Notification Only' records were not being submitted, because their Liability Status was not being set. This was caused by an invalid TOOCs combination resulting in an error in the backend when saving the injury.

After: Bug fixed. If an invalid TOOCs combination is selected for a 'SIRA Notification Only' injury, the invalid values will be removed and no error will occur so that the injury can be submitted

NSW Self Insurance | Weekly Payment Mandatory Hours

Before: The Hours Lost field was mandatory when adding a NSW SI Weekly Payment.

After: Bug fixed. Hours Lost is no longer mandatory.

NSW Self Insurance | Top Up Estimate

Before: The Top Up field was missing from the NSW Estimates page

After: Bug fixed. The Top Up is now available for SI NSW Estimates when the account setting is enabled.

NSW Self Insurance | Significant Injury Date Task

Before: The 'Significant Injury Date (SI NSW)' Task was incorrect. The Task was being generated if the sum of all restricted with lost time/ unfit days on medical certificate capacities was greater than or equal to 7 days. This should have been greater than 7 days only.

After: Bug fixed. Task has been update to generate only if that value is greater than 7 days, to align with the Claim Management Guide.

NSW Self Insurance | Claim Data Suburb

Before: The suburb/postcode warning on the NSW Claim Data page was case sensitive. This meant that the warning was appearing if the suburb matched the postcode but had different casing to the suburb dropdown.

After: Bug fixed.

NSW Self Insurance | Submission Accident Location

Before: The NSW Submission Create code was not automatically sending AccidentLocation as 'NA' for code '00'.

After: Bug fixed.

NSW Self Insurance | Estimated RTW Date Validation

Before: The Estimated RTW Date was mandatory even if the injured worker was retired or deceased.

After:

  • The Estimated RTW Date is no longer mandatory if the worker is retired or deceased.

  • Added a submission check to ensure the Estimated RTW Date field is blank if the worker is retired or deceased.

QLD Self Insurance | Liability Commencement on Reopen

Before: Users were not prompted to provide the Liability Commencement date when setting the Liability Status to 'Admitted' on the Reopen Injury page.

After: Bug fixed. The Liability Commencement date field has been added to the Reopen page for QLD SI.

VIC Self Insurance | Certificate of Capacity Dates

Before: Users were not able to set the Certificate of Capacity date fields to be before the Claim Form Received date.

After: Bug fixed. The Certificate of Capacity Issued Date, Received Date, and Clearance Date can now be any date from the Date of Injury.

TAS Self Insurance | Common Law Payment WPI Validation

Before: The WPI validation when adding TAS SI Common Law Other Payments was not working correctly. The validation was appearing when the WPI was 30% or more, which was the wrong way around. Also, the validation needed to be updated to 20%.

After: Bug fixed. Validation will not appear if WPI Percentage is 20% or more.

VIC Self Insurance | Claim Data Page Closed Claims

Before: Some fields were not showing any values on the Claim Data page of older closed VIC EDT claims. Console errors were also occurring.

After: Bug fixed.

WA Self Insurance Claim Status Submission Check

Before: The 'Claim Status Code is invalid' submission check had an outdated list of allowed codes.

After: Bug fixed.
