New Features and Enhancements

Task Templates and Task Profiles

Task Templates and Task Profiles are now available to be built and managed by Client Admin users. Task templates and Profiles have been introduced to help with data entry relating to repeated or standard Tasks.

Details on how to manage these can be found in the article Build and Configure Task Templates and Profiles.

Details on how to use these in the system can be found in the article Tasks.

Medical Certificate Fields

There are certain fields on the Add Medical Certificate page that can be managed per account. Fields can be made visible, and if visible, can be made mandatory depending on your account's needs.

These fields can be managed via the Settings Cog > Configuration > Medical Certificate Fields.

Creditor List Sorting

The Creditor dropdown when adding a Payment is now sorted alphabetically to help find Creditors.

Self Insurance | Add Submission Page Performance

Improved the performance of the 'Policy Type' dropdown on the Add Submission page in large accounts.

Self Insurance | Date of Birth Submission Checks

Additional validation and submission checks have been added to various SI Policy Types, to ensure the Date of Birth is not after the Date of Injury. This is to help with imported claims that may bypass the in-system validations.

NSW Self Insurance | Cumulative Files Submission Check

Added a submission check to prevent Submission creation if any of the 402, 403, or 404 Cumulative error reports for the last submission month have not been loaded to the Submission Errors page.

QLD Self Insurance | Ordinary Earnings Submission Check

Added QLD SI submission checks:

  • Ordinary Earning To date cannot be before Ordinary Earning From Date

  • There cannot be multiple Ordinary Earnings with the same start date

QLD Self Insurance | Resolution Stage Validation

Added in-system validation and a submission check for the Resolution Stage field on the Legal > Damages Resolution field in QLD SI. The validation behaves differently if the Date of Injury is prior to 1st February 1997:

  • If the Date of Injury is on or after 1 February 1997, the Resolution Stage cannot be '08 Prior to Legal Proceedings Commencing'.

  • If the Date of Injury is before 1 February 1997, the Resolution Stage must be one of the following:

    • 08 Prior to Legal proceedings commencing

    • 09 After legal proceedings have commenced

    • 10 Mediation

    • 11 Case appraisal

    • 12 Court judgement

    • 13 After appeal lodged

    • 14 Appeal Court decision

VIC Self Insurance | Payment Code Update

Updated which Payment Codes can be selected for provisional payments. Duplicate codes have been removed.

Bug Fixes

Injury Summary Page | Medical Certificate Issue

Before: In some scenarios, the Medical Certificate fields on the Injury Summary Page Title were using values from the most recently updated medical certificate, instead of the Current medical certificate.

After: Bug fixed. The Injury Summary page will always display values from the Current medical certificate.

Custom Module Redirection Issues

Before: Errors occurred when redirecting from the Claim Data page back to some module grid.

After: Bug fixed.

ACT Self Insurance | Submission Check Improvements

Before: There were issues with the ACT Submission Check script.

After: ACT Submission Check script has been rewritten.

Comcare Self Insurance | TOOCS 2.1 Issue

Before: The Comcare SI Submission file was not handling TOOCS 2.1 values correctly. It was adding extra spaces instead of extra zeroes.

After: Bug fixed.

NSW Self Insurance | Payment Line Item 'Amount'

Before: When adding a NSW SI Payment Line Item and then using the 'Add Another' button, the Amount field still had the previous value pre-populated.

After: Bug fixed. The Amount field will pre-populate the correct value based on the selected Payment Type.

NSW Self Insurance | Language and WIC Classification Rate

Before: The submission checks for the Language and WIC Classification Rate fields were appearing on old claims, even though those fields are not required for claims prior to a certain date.

After: Bug fixed. Those Submission Checks have been updated to not appear for old claims.

NSW Self Insurance | Compensation Approvals

Before: Validation was occurring on the Compensation Approvals page for NSW SI claims if the Ordinary Earnings was $0, but the same validation didn't occur when adding a Weekly Payment manually.

After: The Ordinary Earnings validation for NSW SI has been removed from the Compensation Approvals page.

VIC Self Insurance | Claim Status Issue

Before: The VIC SI Submission (EDT 5.5.1) was only including the latest Claim Status if it had been added within the submission period.

After: Bug fixed. The VIC SI Submission file will include the latest Claim Status for every claim included in the submission, even if the latest Claim Status was not added during the submission period.

VIC Self Insurance | Claim Status Submission Check issue

Before: The 'Claim Status End Date is required for previous or closed Claim Status' Submission Check in VIC SI was not always working correctly for imported data due to the way it was ordering the data.

After: Bug fixed. Submission script now orders the Claim Status by created date, to cater for imported data.

WA Self Insurance | Weekly Benefit Rate Submission Check

Before: The 'Weekly Benefit Rate ($) must be > 50' Submission Check was showing up as an Error instead of a Warning (which means users were not able to generate their submission without resolving it).

After: Bug fixed. The WA SI Weekly Benefit Rate Submission Check has been changed from an Error to a Warning.
