View States

Return the Scene to a previously saved state

The View State menu in Tobe Builder Pro allows users to save and share a specific state within their project, enabling quick and easy navigation back to that state at any point.

What is a View State?

View States save the user's current:

  • Camera Position

  • Global BIM Visibility

  • Task Selection

  • Timeline Date

Creating a View State

To create a View State:

  1. Open the View States window.

  2. Adjust your Tobe Builder project to the state you wish to save.

  3. Select the task you want to be selected.

  4. Toggle the visibility of any model elements you wish to edit.

  5. Move the timeline pick to the desired location.

  6. Select any BIM elements you wish to have selected.

  7. Adjust the camera to the desired location.

  8. Click the Create New View State button.

Tobe Builder Pro will save the View State.

Using View States

Once created, you can select the View State in the View States window to either edit the state or select all or specific elements of the View State.

Selecting View State Elements

  1. Select the View State.

  2. Choose the type of selection you need:

    • Full Selection: Click the Select ALL button.

    • Individual Selection: Click the label for the individual selection.

    • Semi-Selected: Toggle the individual elements you wish to select and click the Select Toggled button.

Editing a View State

To edit a View State:

  1. Select the View State you wish to edit.

  2. Adjust your Tobe Builder project to be in the updated state.

  3. Click Update in the inspector.
