The portfolio/learning journal course is designed based on gathering evidence and creating artifacts (mainly to meet learning outcomes). We've gone with a model where learners generate more artifacts than they need, then curate, refine and collate into a final last My portfolio section. In the My portfolio section, we've also included some tasks for learners to reflect on what they learned from a chosen artifact and why they've included it in their portfolio.

Here's the structure for this course.

There is also an Appendix section which includes some pages for specific kinds of tasks. These are focused on different ways you can make the learning active and are divided into two sections of:

  • Example tasks to accompany pre-reading/watching

  • Example class discussion strategies
