When logging on to the platform for the first time, please ensure you do the following:
Find out who your Admin and Account Owners are: there will be one account owner, but there could be multiple Admins. See our Article on the link above which details the different access levels in our app.
Check to see if your data request has been set up: When going into the ‘collect data’ tab, you should be able to start entering data. If you cannot, please contact your account admin to finish setting up your data request (insert link to article on how to set up data request)
Explore Data Collection: After clicking on your data request, you will be taken to the Data Collection menu screen where you will see a list of all the metrics that require your input. These metrics are grouped into Environment, Social, Governance & General. The different colours next to the metrics show the status of collection (Grey = Not started, Yellow = Draft, Green = Complete)
PLEASE NOTE: as a data gatherer, you may not have access to all entities measured within one data point, therefore the colour is likely to stay yellow as every entity may not have data submitted.
Configure metrics: Check with your admin that you are reporting in the desired cadence, you can choose from:
By year
By quarter
By month
Opt out of certain metrics or sites: if you feel that a particular metric is not applicable to your organisation, or that you do not have any data to report on, you can opt out of metrics as shown below. Please note, if you have already populated some data in that metric, you will need to remove it before opting out. Data gatherers will need to opt out as below:
Note that data gatherers CANNOT opt out at the data point level, as there will be multiple entities per data point, some of which the data gatherer may not have access to.
Reach 100% completion rate: You may not reach 100% completion rate as you are most likely gathering data for a small part of the overall data request. Once you have added all the required data assigned to you- you are good to go.
