Update the Lockwell Desktop App

Lockwell will send you a desktop notification whenever a new update is available for the desktop app.

To update the desktop app:

Step 1: Quit the desktop app from the system tray on your computer.

Windows:
- Open the system tray & right click the Lockwell logo
- Click "Quit Lockwell"

Step 2: Lockwell will begin the update automatically. Wait for 30 seconds to a minute, then re-open the desktop app.

Pro tip: Click Help > About Lockwell in the desktop app. The app version will match the desktop notification you received to update the app.

When you re-open the desktop app, if you receive a notification to update the app again, that means the update failed.
