Understanding Lockwell Billing: User Types and Charges
Lockwell charges customers on a monthly basis based on the types of users within your organization’s Lockwell account. Here’s a breakdown of the different user statuses and how they affect your billing:
User Statuses
Active:
An Active user is someone who is actively using their Lockwell account.
Pending:
A Pending user is someone who has been invited by a Lockwell administrator within your organization but has not yet created their Lockwell account.
Suspended:
A Suspended user is someone who cannot access their account. This status is used as a security measure (e.g., if an account is compromised or the user is on an extended vacation). Although they cannot use Lockwell’s tools, they are still considered part of your Lockwell account and will be billed accordingly.
Managing Suspended Users
To avoid being charged for Suspended users, you can have their status updated to Inactive. Here’s how you can do this:
Contact Customer Success: Reach out to our customer success team to update the status of Suspended users to Inactive.
Upcoming Feature: Our product team is working on adding functionality that will allow administrators within your organization to disable selected users directly. This will remove them from your ongoing subscription and ensure you are not billed for inactive accounts.
By understanding and managing user statuses, you can ensure accurate billing and maintain the security of your Lockwell account.
