How to pay an invoice in the client area

Where to find your unpaid invoices in the LumaDock client area and how to pay them.

Written by Andy Wallace

Your invoice arrives 14 days before a service renews. If you have a card saved on your account, we charge it on the renewal date and you don't have to do anything. If you don't have a card saved, or you simply want to pay sooner, you can pay the invoice yourself in a few clicks.

Tip: Are you planning to upgrade your server or change the billing cycle? Pay any open invoice first. Both options become available as soon as the payment goes through.

Find your invoice

Log in to the client area and click Unpaid invoices at the top of the dashboard.

Alternatively, if you prefer the left menu, the Financial section leads to the same page, under My Invoices.

Next up, you will end up on the My Invoices area:

Each row shows the amount and the status. The purple box on the left shows what you owe today. When there's only one invoice waiting, the Pay Now button in that box is the shortest route.

Pay your invoice

Step 1 – Open the invoice

Find the row with the red Unpaid label and click Manage. You will end up in the View Invoice area.

Step 2 – Pick a payment method

The invoice details fill the left side of the page. On the right, open the dropdown under Total due and choose how you want to pay.

Step 3 – Send the payment

Click Pay now and finish on the payment screen. Card payments clear in a few seconds and the label on the invoice turns green.

Paying for several servers at once

Servers bought on different days renew on different days, which leaves you with a few invoices open at the same time. Mass payment, in the menu on the left, joins them into one payment.

Why an upgrade waits for your invoice

An upgrade creates its own invoice. If an earlier one is still open, the new order stops there so you never end up paying twice for the same server. Pay what's open and the upgrade runs as normal.

Once the invoice is paid you can upgrade your VPS or change your billing cycle.
