My sequencer disabled warmup and asked for a reactivation code

Why tools like Instantly sometimes pause warmup with a "negatively impacting other users" message, and what to do about it.

If your sequencer (for example Instantly) suddenly turns off warmup on one of your mailboxes and shows a message like "negatively impacting other users in the pool", this is a safety mechanism from that sequencer's own shared warmup network — it isn't a Maildoso account flag, and it doesn't mean your mailbox or domain has a real deliverability problem.

Why this happens

  • Warmup tools connect thousands of mailboxes from many providers into one shared "warmup pool" so accounts can send test emails to each other and build reputation.

  • To protect that shared pool, the tool automatically pauses individual mailboxes it thinks are behaving unusually (for example, sending too fast, or receiving too many replies marked as spam within the pool itself).

  • This is a decision made entirely inside the sequencer's warmup network. It's separate from your Maildoso mailbox's actual sending health.

What to do

  • Check the mailbox's inbox (or the sequencer's dashboard) for a reactivation link or code — most tools send one automatically and reactivate the mailbox once you confirm it.

  • If you don't see a code, check the warmup tool's own help center or support channel — reactivation is handled entirely on their side, since it's their pool.

  • Once reactivated, keep your daily warmup volume moderate rather than increasing it right away. Sudden jumps in volume are one of the more common triggers for another pause.

  • If this keeps happening across many mailboxes at once, or reactivation doesn't work, contact us with the affected mailbox addresses and the sequencer you're using — we'll check whether anything on the Maildoso side needs attention.
