"Action Required: Your Master Inbox Is Full" — what it means and what to do

Why you received a Master Inbox full notice, the two cleanup options, and how to reply.

What this email means

If you received an email titled "Action Required: Your Master Inbox Is Full", the storage of your Maildoso Master Inbox (the @maildoso.email inbox used by SMTP mailboxes) has reached its limit. The most common cause is warmup emails, which pile up in the Master Inbox when forwarding is on and no warmup filter hides them.

When the Master Inbox is full, new replies may stop arriving, so it's worth acting quickly.

Your two options

Reply to the email within 3 days and tell us which option you prefer:

  • Option A: Disable forwarding and delete all messages from the Master Inbox.

  • Option B: Keep forwarding enabled and delete all messages older than 30 days.

We only start the cleanup after we receive your written confirmation. Deleted messages cannot be recovered, so if you need any older replies, export or forward them first.

How to avoid it happening again

  • Set up a warmup filter so warmup emails are hidden from your Master Inbox. See Warmup Filters.

  • Connect your Master Inbox to an email app and clear out old messages regularly. See Using your Master Inbox and connecting mailboxes to an email app.

  • If you don't need forwarding, you can disable it (Option A).

When to contact support

Reply to the notice email or message us in chat if you're not sure which option to choose, if replies stopped arriving, or if you need a different cleanup approach.

If you choose Option B, set up warmup filters in your sequencer/Master Inbox so warmup traffic stops filling the inbox — see Warmup Filters. We only make either change after your written confirmation.
