The Asset Template feature simplifies the process of creating new assets by enabling users to utilise pre-defined templates. This functionality automates the inclusion of asset images, descriptions, parts and documentation, streamlining the setup process and saving users valuable time.

Accessing Asset Template Feature

To access the Machine Template feature, navigate to Asset Hub and click on the Asset Templates. If there are existing templates they will be listed here. If no template exists, you can add a new template by following

Key Benefits

  • Time Efficiency: No need to upload images, write descriptions, or attach documentation or parts individually.

  • Consistency: Ensures uniformity in asset profiles and documentation across the platform.

  • Ease of Use: User-friendly interface for quick and hassle-free template selection.

Automatic Inclusions

Asset Images

The asset image associated with the selected template is automatically added to the new asset profile.

Descriptions

Descriptions outlining the asset's features, specifications, and intended use are included.

Documentation

Essential documents, manuals, or guides related to the machine are attached, ensuring users have access to necessary information.

Parts

Relevant parts linked to the template are automatically assigned to the asset, enabling easier maintenance and spare part management.

Note: The Assets tab displays all assets that have been created using this template.
