How to Choose the Right Type

Use this quick guide to decide which discount type best fits your promotion:

  • Use Line Item discounts when the deal applies to a single item only or when a budtender decides when to apply it.

  • Use Product discounts when you want automation across specific brands, categories, or products.

  • Use BOGO discounts when you want to link two products together in a trigger → reward relationship.

  • Use Order discounts when the deal applies to the full cart or to specific customer groups or subtotals.

All Discount Settings in Meadow

Each discount type (Line Item, Product, BOGO, and Order) includes a shared set of settings, plus a few unique options depending on how the discount is applied.
