Create booking requests for new or existing customers with just a few clicks.

Overview

Creating booking requests for new or existing customers is effortless with Metarina. Our platform consolidates all booking requests in one organized system, allowing for quick and efficient management. This guide will walk you through the steps to create or add an external booking request with just a few clicks.


Step 1: Accessing the Booking Feature


Locate the Orange button labelled 'Create a Booking' found at the top-right of the screen. This button is available from the Dashboard, Requests, Booking, Occupancies, and Invoices tabs.


Step 2: Select Customer


Before we get started with Check-In and Check-out times, we want to check, if our customer is already listed in our Database.

To do that, please click on the 'Search Customer by Name' field and type the Name:

In case we can't find the customer we are looking for, we first need to manually add him:

Step 3: Filling Out Booking Details


Now that we either added the customer or were able to select him right away, let us add the Check-In and Checkout details:

💡 In rare cases, there is either no boat listed, or multiple boats listed for the selected customer. If there are multiple boats, simply select the right one. In case of no boat, you can directly add a new boat from this view:


Step 4: Finalize the Booking


Once you have completed all the required fields, click on 'Create' to finalize and submit your booking request:

Well done - you have successfully created a new Request in Metarina! 🎉

💡 To keep a better overview, we call Bookings that are not yet reserved 'Requests'. You can find all your Requests at the third option of the menu on the left side.

Your Request will now be marked as pending in the system, and it will include all relevant details for the customer and the boat already filled in.
