Travelling in a group is a fun and rewarding experience for everyone involved. However, sometimes, due to a lack of technology, we end up spending a lot of time on administrative tasks: paperwork, repetition of communications, lack of community, chaotic communication channels, etc. That's why we have created a tool that solves the three main challenges of group travel:

  • Effective participation of all parties involved in a trip, from the agency and/or operator to the guide/manager to the travellers. All connected!

  • Centralised communication: the App has a group chat but also has a notification channel to send alerts to travellers in a unidirectional way. Now let's see it!

  • Sales at destination: the App is designed to optimise the payment process for group trips. The customer at the destination can pay for any option from their mobile phone, thus saving the guide time and in turn increasing sales.

The following video explains the functionalities in depth. I'm sure you will find it very useful!

*This video focuses mainly on the use of the App for groups. It is assumed that the guide in question has already been invited to collaborate. Click here to find out more.

Access to the App

Accessing the app is very simple: the traveller only has to download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. There are three options for accessing the proposal:

  1. The agency shares a QR code (by email, WhatsApp, etc.). The customer scans it with their mobile phone and the proposed itinerary automatically opens in the App.

  2. The traveller registers on the App, creates a profile and enters the unique code sent by the agency.

  3. Once at the destination, the other travellers can share the QR code of the proposal (the same one given by the agency). In this way, those who have not yet accessed it will be able to do so by scanning it from other travellers' mobile phones.

With these simple steps, you will already have the trip information on your mobile phone.

Travel programme

Once inside the App, it is possible to access the programme/itinerary of the trip (accommodation, activities, restaurants, flights, etc.) to have it always at hand. You can contact any establishment, as well as enter the directions to get there (thanks to the connection with Google Maps).

The itinerary is accessible offline, just open it once and it is saved on your mobile.

Travellers

This section shows all the members of the group trip. If they have a private profile, it will not be possible to access their information. If, on the other hand, they have a public profile, you will be able to access all their details.

Photos

Throughout the trip, photos can be uploaded to a common album that can be consulted by all participants.

Documents

Your customer will always have all the travel documents at their disposal in the app. It's as simple as that. Whether they have an internet connection or are offline, they can easily consult the travel programme and any other relevant documents that the agency uploads to the App (excursions, practical information, hotel vouchers, contracts, travel insurance, boarding passes, etc.).

The documents can be saved on the mobile phone or shared (by email, WhatsApp, etc.).

Chat

This is the communication space. It is no longer necessary to save travellers' mobile phones on your personal phone and be in contact with them in a disorganised way via WhatsApp.

In the app you will have the phone numbers of each traveller, as well as a chat where you can address them in a simple and non-intrusive way. You can enable both an individual chat (with any traveller or with the guide) and a group chat, and send information of interest to all the members of a group with a single message. The app also allows you to call each traveller directly on their mobile phone.

Notifications

This functionality will help you to stay in touch with your customers in an agile and immediate way. This creates a one-way communication channel.

There are different types of notifications, each with a different purpose, and you can combine them as you need them:

  • General

  • Rating

  • Alert

  • Location

  • Video

  • Survey

  • Payment

  • Video

  • Meet your guide

Explore section

In this section of the App, agencies can choose which website they want to show to travellers: it can be your own website, or a customised URL to a website that the agency is affiliated to: Civitatis, Getyourguide, Viator, Tourscanner....

In this way they will be able to get more out of sales at the destination by monetising each sale through your customised link. If you prefer not to use this section and not to link to any website, you can simply configure the App so that this section does not appear.
