Your driver team can receive notifications in two ways for things such as job assignments - through an in-app notification or as a text message. In-app notifications is the default setting, however you might be asked by your drivers how to revert back to text messages which they prefer.

Before making any changes confirm that the operating system is the most current version and that the Moovs Driver app is also up to date.

If you or your driver team are using an iPhone follow the following instructions to turn off App notifications and turning on text messages:

Open the Settings app

Scroll down to the list of downloaded apps to find Moovs Driver and select

Select Notifications

Touch the toggle next to Allow Notifications to disable in-app notifications and have the phone receive text messages instead.

Or touch to turn the toggle to the on position to allow the opposite.

This change does take some time to be in effect (sometimes as long as 24 hours) as the phone is, essentially, updating with the network to allow the messages and the operating system of the phone to disallow the notifications.

Deleting then reinstalling the app may increase the speed at which these changes are adopted.

From the Settings app select Notifications.

Scroll to and select Moovs Driver and have your driver team select Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners are all selected to optimize the timely response to in-app notifications.

In addition, the Banner Style should be set to Persistent, not Temporary. The benefit is that the banner needs to be acknowledged or actioned and does not disappear by itself, making the alert more prominent.

Additional Tips:

iPhones have the ability to have Siri, if enabled, read the alert to the Driver. To enable this: Open the Settings App

Find and select Notifications

Select Announce Notifications, and turn on if the toggle is off.

Scroll to find Moovs Driver app, and select

Turn the Announce Notifications toggle to the on position.
