Understand Moovs Shuttle Booking Experiences

Overview of Moovs Shuttle, an Enterprise-only paid feature, including its operator, passenger, and driver booking experiences.

Written by Nate

Availability: Moovs Shuttle is an Enterprise-only paid feature. It must be purchased and enabled for your account. To add or enable Shuttle, contact Moovs Sales. Sales handles Shuttle pricing and enablement.

Moovs Shuttle connects route setup in the Operator portal with a browser-based passenger experience and the Moovs Driver App. Passengers use a link or QR code supplied by the transportation operator; they do not need to download a separate Shuttle app.

Choose the right Shuttle experience

  • Fixed Schedule · Stop Time Select: Passengers use a ticket to choose a route, date, stop, and scheduled time.

  • Fixed Schedule · Stop-to-Stop Search: Passengers search between two stops, choose a one-way or round trip, enter passenger information, and pay the displayed fare.

  • Continuous Loop: Passengers view routes, stops, operating hours, and active vehicle information. A seat booking is not required.

  • Shared Shuttle: Passengers request an on-demand trip between a common location and an eligible pickup or drop-off location. Moovs calculates the fare from the route's service area and pricing.

How the complete booking journey works

  1. The operator creates a company and a Shuttle route.

  2. The operator configures the route schedule, stops or service area, passenger types, pricing, and branding.

  3. The operator copies the correct passenger or booking link and shares it with riders.

  4. The passenger signs in when required, books or views the route, and receives the available confirmation details.

  5. The operator reviews bookings and prepares operations. Shared Shuttle bookings are assigned to trips on the Scheduler Board.

  6. The driver uses the Moovs Driver App to review the manifest and update boarding, no-show, and disembarking statuses.
