What is a Challenge Move?

Updated this week

Challenge Moves are a key part of our Weekly Moves programming. Each week, five new workouts are released on the same days for everyone following the program. This consistent cadence keeps your training fresh while building a shared experience across the Moves community.

Why They Matter: Progressive Overload

Challenge Moves are designed to help you implement progressive overload—the gradual increase of intensity over time to keep building strength and skill. Each month, our trainers introduce new Challenge Moves that repeat across four weeks.

This gives you a focused opportunity to:

  • Improve form

  • Add reps or sets

  • Increase weights

  • Track your progress week to week

The Exercise History feature supports this by showing you the weights and reps you logged for each Challenge Move, helping you stay motivated and set smart goals.

Prefer Repetition Over Variety?

If you love training with less variety and more consistency, you might enjoy our Strength Moves program. It emphasizes repeated movements and steady strength progression, making it a great fit for those who want a more structured approach to progressive overload.
