Why is my calorie goal low and constantly changing?

Understanding workout calories and Activity Tracking mode

Updated over 2 weeks ago

If your calorie number seems too low and changes randomly, itโ€™s likely because the Energy Expenditure mode is set to Activity Tracking. With this setting enabled, your total calorie goal will change accordingly based on your logged workouts. For example, if your goal is 1,200 calories and you burn 400 calories walking, your calorie goal will increase to 1,600 after logging that activity.

If you don't like that approach, you can change the settings at any time. Just go to your Profile in the upper-left corner, tap "Energy Expenditure", and select "Estimation" mode. This will increase your calorie goal since it's now based on the activity level you provided in the questionnaire and already include estimated workout calories.
