Editing Product Details
After creating your product in the My Easy Monogram Design Studio and generating mockups, it's crucial to review and adjust the product details, including variant options and pricing, before importing them to your Shopify Store.
Accessing Product Details
From the My Easy Monogram dashboard, navigate to Products on the left toolbar.
Select Design Studio Products under All Products.
Click on the product icon (e.g., Custom Steel Wall Decor) to view all instances of the product, including Active, Error, Orders, and Draft instances.
Editing Product Details
Click the Edit button next to the product instance you want to modify.
You will be directed to the Design Elements page, where you can:
Edit Design: Open the Design Studio to modify the product’s design.
Add New Scene: Use the Mockup Studio to create and edit product mockups.
Continue to Details: Review the product details, including title, description, tags, pricing, and variants.
Understanding Variant Options
Variants are different versions of a product, such as different sizes or colors. Managing these options correctly ensures that your customers can easily find the version of the product they want.
Editing Variant Options
On the Product Details page, review the different variants available for the product.
You can remove unwanted variants by toggling off the option next to each variant.
Managing Pricing
Accurate pricing is essential to keep your store competitive and profitable. Here’s how to manage pricing effectively:
Understanding Pricing Fields
Cost: The price you pay for the product.
Price: The price your customers pay for the product.
Compare Price: A reference price that shows customers a discount compared to the current price.
Setting Prices
On the Product Details page, you’ll see different variations of the product, including color, size, cost, price, and compare price.
Adjust prices and compare prices if necessary. These are calculated based on the Global and Advanced Price Settings configured earlier.
Pro Tip: Regularly review and adjust your prices to stay competitive. Use the "Compare Price" feature to highlight discounts and attract customers.
Reviewing and Publishing Product Updates
Before making your product live on Shopify, it's essential to review all details to ensure accuracy and appeal.
Importing Product Updates
Preview Design: Before finalizing, preview your design to ensure all elements are correctly placed and connected.
Edit Descriptions and Tags: While you can customize the product’s title and description, note that tags are used internally within the MEM app and do not transfer into Shopify.
Review Images: Use the pre-loaded images provided by My Easy Monogram to display product variants effectively.
Publish to Shopify: Once all details are reviewed and confirmed, click Publish to import your updated product to Shopify.
Reminder: Double-check product visibility and availability settings before publishing to ensure your products are displayed correctly in your store.
Understanding Shipping Inclusions
At My Easy Monogram, we believe in transparency and simplicity. That’s why shipping costs are included in the product prices you see. What you see is what you pay – no hidden fees or surprises at checkout.
