My Easy Monogram (MEM) is a print-on-demand company and app that lets you create and import custom products (like steel wall décor) into your online store. With the Design Studio, you can personalize products, provide live previews on your Shopify site, and automatically submit orders that MEM produces and ships. MEM now also integrates directly with Etsy, making it easy to expand your sales channels.
2. Does MEM work with both Shopify and Etsy?
Yes! MEM integrates seamlessly with both Shopify and Etsy. You can design and sell custom products on either platform, and all orders will be automatically submitted to MEM for production and shipping.
👉 Sellers using Shopify can also connect their Shopify store directly to Etsy (and use apps like CED Commerce to automate and simplify the process). In this case, you don’t need to use MEM’s direct Etsy integration—your Etsy orders can still filter through Shopify and into MEM automatically.

3. Are there differences between Shopify and Etsy integrations?
Yes. Shopify allows customers to see live previews of their personalized designs directly on your website. Etsy does not support this preview functionality, so sellers will need to either:
Manually enter personalization details from Etsy orders into MEM, or
Upload new artwork if creating custom designs for each order.
4. How do I install the MEM Live Preview Embed Code?

5. How do I create a custom design in the Design Studio?

6. What file formats are supported?

7. Why are stencil fonts required for negative text?
Without stencil breaks, enclosed areas (like the center of “O” or “e”) fall out when cut.

8. Can I edit my design after saving?

Go to Mockup Studio → Add New Scene
Import your design and adjust
Toggle scene on → check the box under the image

23. What’s the difference between artwork for laser-cut signs vs. printed/etched products?
Laser-Cut Signs: Artwork is physically cut from steel, which means fonts must be stencil-ready, include bridging for enclosed letters, and meet minimum thickness requirements for durability.
Printed & Etched Products: Artwork is applied to the surface, so the main focus is clarity, resolution, and contrast—not structural support.

Do fonts work the same for both product types?
No.
Steel Wall Décor (Laser-Cut): Requires stencil fonts and thicker strokes to ensure letters remain intact.
Printed & Etched Products: Any font style may be used, as long as it remains clear and legible at the final size.
24. How do I order a sample?
