YES! You can absolutely work out at home with MyFitCoach – no matter how much (or how little) equipment you have available.

During onboarding, you'll be able to let MyFitCoach know what equipment you own and which exercises you’re able to perform. Based on this information, MyFitCoach will build a personalized training plan that fits your environment and goals – whether you have a fully equipped home gym, just a pull-up bar, or no equipment at all.

This flexibility even allows you to follow a bodyweight-only or Calisthenics-style training plan. You decide what tools you want to train with – MyFitCoach will take care of the structure and progression.

Adjusting your equipment setup

If you're already using the app, you can update your available equipment anytime:

  • Go to the Training tab

  • Tap Training Profile

  • Select Equipment

Your plan will automatically adapt to match your current setup. You can also exclude specific exercises you don’t want to perform – MyFitCoach will replace them with alternatives that suit your preferences.

Hybrid Training (Home and Gym)

If you regularly switch between the gym and home workouts, we recommend selecting all equipment you generally have access to – from both environments. This way, your plan can flexibly incorporate exercises across your full range of options.

At the moment, we don’t yet offer an automatic way to switch between different setups (e.g., “Home Mode” vs. “Gym Mode”). For now, if you want to temporarily train at home, you can:

  • Manually swap exercises for more suitable ones, or

  • Adjust your equipment settings, especially if you’ll be training at home for several days or weeks.
