Adjusting the available equipment

You train at home and only have dumbbells, bands, or limited equipment? Here’s how to set up your gear in the MyFitCoach app.

How to proceed

  1. Open the app → “Training” tab

  2. “Training” button (top) or three-dot menu → “Training Profile”

  3. Select “Equipment”

  4. Check everything you actually have available

  5. Save and confirm the training profile

After that, MyFitCoach adapts your training plan to your current setup.

If something changes

New dumbbells, bands, or machines? Repeat the steps above—MFC will immediately use your new selection.

Important note (recalculation)

Changes to equipment or other profile areas trigger a recalculation of your plan. The current plan will be overwritten; exercises, order, and volume may change significantly.


Cardio & unavailable equipment

MyFitCoach currently doesn’t support integration of cardio machines (e.g., StairMaster, treadmill, bike, rowing ergometer, SkiErg) and doesn’t track cardio sessions.
Also not available at the moment: kettlebells and gymnastic rings.
We’re already working on a sensible integration.
