Bonterra Que for NFG is your built-in fundraising coach — designed to help small to midsize nonprofits move faster with expert-backed, personalized campaign guidance. This first release gives you real-time strategic recommendations based on your organization’s fundraising data, campaign history, and Bonterra’s proven best practices — all within your NFG dashboard.

With just a few prompts, Que helps you answer key strategic questions like:

  • “Which campaign type should we run next?”

  • “What kind of donors should we focus on this month?”

  • “How did our last appeal perform compared to others?”

Instead of digging through reports or starting from scratch, Que delivers coaching insights in natural language, grounded in your data and contextualized for your organization. You stay in control — Que just helps you move faster with more confidence.

Current Que capabilities include:

  • Real-time, chat-based coaching experience that offers strategic fundraising recommendations

  • Insights based on your fundraising history and general best practices

  • Fully embedded in your NFG dashboard for a seamless user experience

Que helps small teams think big — cutting through complexity and helping you focus your energy where it counts.

Feature Availability

Coaching with Que is currently in Open Beta.

During this early access period, any user with one of the following roles can launch the coach directly from their NFG dashboard:

  • Supervisor

  • Staff

  • Accountant

To get started, simply look for the “Ask Que” link in the NFG dashboard.

Coaching with Que is designed for:

  • Fundraising and Communications Teams

  • Development Directors and Officers

  • Executive Directors at small to midsize nonprofits

This is the first skill in the Bonterra Que suite and focuses on personalized, data-informed fundraising guidance. The coach delivers real-time strategic insights — such as campaign type recommendations, donor retention trends, and performance comparisons — using your organization’s past fundraising data and best-practice benchmarks.

In-App Access, No Setup Required

Launch Que directly from your NFG dashboard with one click. It’s built into your existing workflow — no configuration, no new tools to learn. Just open the chat and get started.

Getting Started

To begin using Coaching with Que, log in to your Network for Good dashboard and look for the Bonterra Que icon in the bottom-right corner. Click it to open a chat-based assistant where you can ask questions like:

  • “What should I prioritize for fundraising this quarter?”

  • “How did our last Giving Tuesday campaign perform?”

  • “How does our donor retention compare to similar nonprofits?”

Que will respond in real time with insights powered by your fundraising history, donor trends, and Bonterra’s best practices — all designed to help you move faster with more confidence.

Step 1: Navigate to Your Dashboard

Log in to Network for Good and open your Dashboard.

Step 2: Open Bonterra Que

Click the Bonterra Que icon to launch the assistant.

Step 3: Start Chatting with Que

Once the chat opens, you’ll see prompt suggestions or you can type your own. Que will provide tailored advice based on your past campaigns, donor activity, and common fundraising benchmarks.

Try asking:

  • “How are we doing on donor retention?”

  • “What fundraising strategy should we focus on next?”

  • “Which campaigns were most effective last year?”

Step 4: Use Built-In Tools to Stay Organized

Inside the chat window, you can:

  • Click the plus (+) icon to start a new conversation

  • Use the clock icon to revisit previous sessions

  • Share or copy insights with the paper and airplane icons

  • Give feedback using thumbs up/down

  • Close Que with the X and reopen it anytime from your dashboard
