Feature Overview: Donor Segmentation
Feature Details
Donor Segmentation in Bonterra Que for Network for Good enables fundraisers to quickly generate smart donor lists using natural language — no advanced filtering or list-building skills required. This functionality helps you target the right supporters based on giving behavior, campaign engagement, and donor trends, while saving time and reducing technical bottlenecks.
From the Que interface, you can ask things like “Show me lapsed donors likely to return” or “Create a list of donors who gave more than once this year,” and Que will instantly return a previewable segment with campaign-specific insights such as average gift and time since last gift. You can then choose to edit filters, save the list so that you can use it in an email or appeal workflow.
Each segment is built using Bonterra’s proprietary donor scoring and your organization’s data, then made transparent for easy review or refinement. The result is intelligent targeting that empowers you to act quickly on data-backed strategies for growth.
This skill is part of the broader Bonterra Que offering, which provides AI fundraising support for email, forms, and campaign planning.
