Understanding Sponsorships
Updated over a week ago

Feature Overview: Sponsorships

Sponsorships are a separate, individual stream of revenue that can be purchased through an Events page and then tracked within in Donor Management - allowing you to acknowledge your sponsors more effectively, as well as provide a more clear view on revenue streams when reporting on your event.

Our Events pages provide the option for your event sponsors to purchase those sponsorships online, as well as the opportunity for you to manually add and manage those sponsors (and any complimentary tickets that might be included with those packages!)

They operate differently from a standard ticket and can provide additional incentives - such as having their logo or photo displayed prominently on your Events page - for individuals or organizations to provide an additional layer of support in facilitating your event.

To get started and create a sponsorship, you can do so directly from the Event Overview by clicking on the "Tickets & Sponsorships" tab. By clicking on the section for "sponsorships," you have the ability to create and customize your sponsorship options and provide details on any related incentives, and sell them directly from your Events page.

Once your event has concluded, you can use the specific reporting features on sponsorships to better understand how much of your event costs were offset by your supporter's efforts, as well as provide specific recognition to those sponsors through designated acknowledgements.

Below, we've created several resources on how to add sponsorship levels, as well as how to seek out, collect payment, track, and acknowledge sponsors within your Fundraising Essentials tools.
