If you closed your nsave account yourself and have changed your mind, you may be able to get it back. Here's how account recovery works.
⏳ You can request to reopen your account during the recovery period after closing it. After this recovery period ends, your closure is final and your account can no longer be reopened.
What happens when you close your account
When you close your account from the app, you lose access straight away and no transactions can be made. Your account then enters in a recovery period.
We introduced the recovery period because many customers told us they closed their account by mistake, or wanted to come back later. It gives you time to change your mind without having to start over.
Who can reopen their account
You can request to reopen your account if:
You closed the account yourself, from the app, and
You're still within the recovery period.
Accounts closed by nsave (for example, following a review) can't be reopened through this process. You can read more in Why nsave may close an account.
How to request to reopen your account
Log in to the nsave app
Use the same email address and phone number you used for your closed account.Tap "Request to reopen my account"
If you're within the recovery period, you'll see a message confirming your account has been closed, along with the option to request recovery.Wait for our team to review your request
We'll check your request and let you know by email or in the app once your account has been reopened.
You don't need to contact support to reopen your account. Using the button in the app is the quickest way to get it reviewed.
What if I don't see the option?
If you log in and don't see the option to request recovery, it usually means one of the following:
Your recovery period has ended, so the closure is now final.
Your account was closed by nsave rather than by you.
In these cases, your account can't be reopened.
After your account is reopened
Once your account is reopened, you can log in and use nsave as before. In some cases we may ask you to confirm or update some of your details before you can start transacting again. If anything needs to be set up again, we'll let you know.
What about my data?
In line with regulations we are required to keep certain records for a period of time after an account is closed. You can find out more in our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
