Everyone comes from a different school of thought about getting notifications. Some people love being on the cutting edge of every update, some people just want the highlights and some people would rather not clutter their inbox.

You are able to adjust your LocalReviews notifications to suit your personal preferences, as well as for your team.

Go to Settings > Users and Roles > User

You will see these Notification Settings on the right hand side of the screen.

Here's what each one means:

Online Ratings Update

This is a notification you can choose to receive when you either:

a. Get a positive online Review

b. Get a negative online Review

c. Get any online Review

This lets you keep in the loop about important activity regarding your online reputation and customer perception. You can choose whether you want to receive options A, B, C, or no notifications.

This is a great notification if you want to monitor your online reputation closely and respond to incoming reviews promptly.

Weekly Highlights

This is a weekly snapshot you can choose to receive for a breakdown of your LocalReviews usage in the past week.

It will show you how many requests you have sent, how many people opened and completed your survey, and the average sentiment of reviews.

This is a great notification if you want a digestible high-level overview of the week.

Weekly Report

Similar to the weekly highlights, this email will show you your week's activities, but it goes significantly further in depth. It shows a full range of analytics, as well as every review you've received in a downloadable pdf.

This is a great notification to choose to understand how well the platform is working and to track improvements over time.

Monthly Report

This report will provide you with a monthly snapshot of your website's overall performance. Each report will highlight the number of requests that were sent in the last month as a whole, followed by the number of reviews that were generated as a result. It will also highlight your website's average rating on your public review platforms, analytics that reflect the monthly results of your feedback requests and a record of all reviews received over the course of the month. The Monthly Report also comes in a downloadable pdf.

This notification is a great way to track your website's improvements over the course of each month and over a longer timeline.

Survey Response

This notification will inform you when you have received a LocalReviews Survey Response. It will provide details on the name, contact information and feedback that your customer has left in response to your feedback request.

This notification is the best way to privately track and keep records of all feedback you receive on your LocalReviews Surveys.

Multi-locations

For those with multiple locations, the parent admin user will be able access all locations, as well as, get the regular parent level monthly/weekly reports. Admin users with access to specific child locations only, would receive monthly/weekly reports for that specific location.

If an admin user of a parent account would like to change notifications settings at anytime for any location they would be able to do so by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the "Settings" tab on the far left then on "Users & Roles".

2. Then click on "Users".

3. Once you've clicked on "Users" you will be able to view users from all locations. Click into the one you would like to view.

4. Then click "Manage Permissions & Notifications".

5. On the bottom right you will see the LocalReviews notifications which you will be able to turn off or on by selecting the checkbox.
