Getting started with your Booking Dashboard

Here's what you need to know to start using your LocalVisits - Booking dashboard!

Your Booking dashboard lives right inside your LocalVisits dashboard!

Getting Started

To begin, first log into your OneLocal dashboard and click on LocalVisits on the left-hand side to view the Booking dashboard. By default, you'll be taken to the Bookings dashboard.

Using Your Sidebar

To get more information on that specific appointment, simply click anywhere on the appointment. Note: if you click a customer's name or phone number, this will open up their LocalContact page.

Clicking on the appointment will open it up your in the Sidebar (you'll see it highlighted in the Sidebar momentarily as it opens), giving you more information on your appointment.

You can also minimize your calendar to see more info at once - simply click on the down arrow beside the Month name on the Calendar.

To make changes to your appointment, click on the 3 buttons in the Sidebar:

Here, you can manually Complete a booking, Edit it, or Cancel it.

Complete Booking

If a booking was completed early, you can easily update the status by clicking Complete.

Edit Booking

If you'd like to edit your booking, click Edit, which will open a new window. Here, you can update the following fields:

  • Service booked. Note: if you update the service, you'll need to select a new date and time.

  • Service date

  • Service time

  • Booking Notes

  • Client Name

  • Client Email

  • Client Mobile

  • Client Comments

Note: you're unable to adjust the service price or duration here. If you need to complete the booking early, see above.

When you're done, scroll to the bottom and hit Update Booking. Or, hit Dismiss if you don't want to save your edits.

Cancel Booking

Cancelling a booking is easy!

1. Open the appointment

2. Click on the 3 buttons in the Sidebar

3. Hit Cancel.

4. You'll be prompted to enter a reason for cancelling

5. Confirm the cancellation of the appointment
