Your Booking Dashboard's Different Views

Here are the different view options explained so you can easily stay on top of new and current appointments.

The Booking dashboard has 3 view options so you can easily get a handle on your schedule, whether that's a bird's eye view of all appointments for the next month, appointments for the day, or any new appointments that haven't been confirmed yet.

Overview

If you'd like to skip to a specific section, you can use one of these links:

Start by logging into your dashboard, and clicking on LocalVisits.

Inbox View

Use your inbox to view any new appointments that have come through the Web Booker. In the inbox, you can do the following:

  • Confirm Booking

  • Update Booking

  • Cancel Booking

Confirm Booking

1. To confirm a booking, simply click on the appointment to open it.

2. Then, click on the Confirm Booking button at the bottom of the Sidebar.

3. Alternately, you can also confirm an appointment by clicking the three dots near the top of the booking, and clicking Confirm.

Update Booking

1. To update a booking, first open the appointment.

2. Click on the 3 dots near the top of the Sidebar, and click Edit

3. Here, you can update the service booked and/or the booking's date and time.

4. When you're done, scroll to the bottom and hit Update Booking.

5. When this is done, the contact receives a text or email with their new appointment details.

Cancel Booking

Cancelling a booking is easy! To cancel a booking:

1. Click on the three dots near the top of the Sidebar, and click Cancel.

2. You'll be prompted to enter a reason for cancelling

3. Confirm the cancellation of the appointment

Calendar View

You can view your appointments in 3 different Calendar views: Day, Week and Month.

Day View

In the day view, you have the ability to view all the different events that are scheduled for that specific day.

  • Grey Events - indicate blocked off time in the calendar

  • Blue Events - indicate confirmed appointments

  • Orange Events - indicate appointments that haven't yet been confirmed

Week View

The weekly view outlines all the events that are taking place on a week by week basis. You can scroll up and down on the page to view the different time slots that are available throughout each day.

  • If you click into a specific day, you'll be taken to the day view for the day selected

  • If an appointment is selected, the details of that appointment will be brought to the sidebar

Month View

The calendar view details all the appointments for a specific month. If you click a specific appointment, the details of that appointment will appear in the sidebar.

  • You can use the arrows beside the month to navigate between months

  • Pending appointments appear with an orange background

  • Blocked off time appears with a grey background

Staff View

The 'Staff" view gives you a breakdown of the currently selected day's appointments assigned to each staff member.

You can also click on 'All Staff' to filter the staff currently displayed. This is helpful if you'd like to see all appointments currently assigned to one particular staff member, for example.

List View

You can access List view by clicking on List near the top right of your screen.

In List view, you'll see all the appointments for a specific day. This includes all the appointments that have been completed or cancelled for that day.

Search Bar

Under the current date, you'll see a Search bar. Here, you can search by Name, Email or Phone Number to easily find a specific appointment.

The search feature is also integrated with your LocalContacts - simply click on a customer's name to bring them up in LocalContacts!

Show Columns

The Show Columns button lets you add in additional custom fields to the sections displayed in your List.

List View's 3 Sections

In List view, you'll see appointments grouped by each appointment status type:

  • Upcoming - any appointments that the you have for the specific day that's currently selected

  • Time Blocked - any time that is blocked out for the day that is currently selected

  • Completed & Cancelled - any completed or cancelled appointments for the day that is currently selected
