Booking: Adding New Staff Members

Here's how to add new staff members so you can assign specific appointments to them!

Adding new staff members gives you the ability to assign new bookings to your employees when they come in! You're able to set their working hours, and view appointments for any (or all) of your staff members.

You're also able to give your customers the option to select specific staff members when they book their appointment - if you'd like to enable that option, jump to our help article here!

Adding Your Staff Members

2. Click on Settings.

3. Next, click on LocalVisits. Then, click on Bookings. Once you're in Bookings, you'll see Staff Members - click into it.

4. Here, you'll see any staff members that have been added. To add more, click on 'Add Staff Member' in the top right corner.

5. In this page, enter the staff member's name, title, upload their photo, and select whether you want them to appear in the Web Booker*. Scroll down to continue.

*If appointments aren't being assigned to specific staff at time of booking, don't worry about this

6. Enter the working hours for this staff member, and select which services they can perform. Lastly, don't forget to hit 'Save'.

Do this for as many staff members as you need to add!

Alternately, we can add new staff members for you. If you'd prefer this, please provide ALL of the following information to your Marketing Specialist for each staff member:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Title

  • Hours & days this staff member works

  • Image of the staff member

  • What services should this staff member be assigned to

Allow Your Customer to Select Specific Staff Members When Booking

Navigate to Settings -> LocalVisits -> Bookings -> Web Booker. You'll be brought to the Build page by default.

Click on the Select Staff Member Page. Here, you can select whether this page will appear in your Web Booker (by default, it doesn't).

You also have the option to enable the 'Any Staff Member' option, where your customer can select this if they don't have a staff member preference when booking their appointment.
