The Time Slots feature in your Booking dashboard allows you to set certain gaps of time you'd like a customer to be able to use a Booking Window service. For example, if you'd like to offer the option for a customer to Request a Call Back, you can set up a time slot for any period of time on any day.
This allows your customer to select a time that works best for them to be called back, and gives them an idea of when they'll be called back.
On your end, you're able to collect your customers' information and call them back when it works best for you - in between appointments, for example. Or, maybe you can set aside this whole time to just do call backs! It's up to you.
Let's dive into how to set this up!
Getting Started
1. First, log in to your OneLocal dashboard.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Next, click on LocalVisits. Then, click on Bookings. Once you're in Bookings, you'll see Services - click into it.
Time Slot Page
Once you're in the Services page - click on the Time Slots tab, underneath the "Services" heading.
On the Time Slots page (see image below for example), you can:
add new time slots
edit existing time slots
assign new and existing time slots to services
delete any time slots
To add a new slot, click on the "Create Time Slot" button in the top right corner of the screen.
Give it a name, enter the number of bookings allowed, and set the days & times you want this time slot on.
When you're done that, click the "Next" button. On this page, you can assign this Time Slot to any Booking Window services you've created.
