Accurate student health records are important, and jmc Office gives you the flexibility to customize health visit logs to reflect your school's unique situations. By adding or editing custom visit reasons, your health office can document every type of student health interaction—even those that don’t fit standard categories. This keeps your records complete, relevant, and tailored to your school’s needs.
To add your custom health reasons, login to jmc Office and head to Health > Visit Log > Visit Log Reasons.
Step One: Click the “Add Record” link to create a new reason, or click the "Edit" link next to an existing one to make changes.
Helpful Tip: Review the "Predefined Visit Log Reasons" list before adding a new custom reason to prevent duplicates.
Step Two: Enter the new visit reason in the "Name" field to specify the purpose of the student's health visit.
Step Three: Click the "Save" link to add your reason to the list, or click the "Cancel" link to discard your changes.
Fun Fact: Once you've added a new reason, it will be available on all visit log pages such as Edit Student Visit Log and Visit Log Query for consistent tracking across your records.
Step Four: Click the "Print" button to print a list of visit log reasons for easy reference.
Helpful Tip: Click the "Delete" link to remove a visit log reason you no longer need and keep your list easier to manage.
