This freeform text box allows health professionals to record important health-related details, such as medical conditions or recurring treatments, directly within a student’s health record. By keeping notes centralized and up to date, schools can maintain a clear and comprehensive view of each student’s health history.

To enter or edit a student's health note log in to jmc Office and head to Health > Health Note > Edit Student Health Note.

Step One: Enter a student's name in the "Find" field to begin editing a health note for the selected student.

Helpful Tip: Select a specific grade from the "Grade" drop-down to narrow the "Find" field, then use the arrows to quickly move between students.

Step Two: Enter or update a health note in the free-form text box beneath "Last Updated" to add new details or revise existing information for a student.

Step Three: Click the "Save" button to record your changes to the health note.

Fun Fact: Student health notes automatically carry over from year to year unless they are edited, overwritten, or deleted, with no need to re-import them annually.

Helpful Tip: Include the "Health Note" when printing from the Health > Reports > Print Health Records page to provide a complete and detailed student health record.
