With a single setting, jmc’s Transcript Linker combines a student’s current academic year data with prior-year records—including grades, test scores, and activities—to create a complete cumulative transcript. This simplifies record management and keeps transcripts accurate and ready for reporting or sharing, without manual data entry or updates.

To check the status of the Transcript Linker, navigate to Grading > Transcripts > Transcript Linker.

Step One: Place a checkmark in the checkbox next to "Use transcript results for cumulative data" if the box is currently unchecked.

Step Two: Click the "Update" link to pull prior-year records into the current year’s transcripts.

Fun Fact: When transcripts are brought up to date in the current year, jmc automatically enables the Transcript Linker for the upcoming school year to maintain continuous records from one year to the next.
