In scenarios such as whole-grade sharing agreements or when middle school records from another jmc building need to appear on high school transcripts, you can transfer groups of student transcripts from one building to another in just a few clicks. Once imported, the transcripts can be updated with additional records, allowing you to build a complete and accurate student profile without manual re-entry or duplicate work.
In jmc Office, navigate to Grading > Transcripts > Import Transcripts from a 2nd jmc building. Before starting the import process, review the "Notes" section at the top of the page to import seamlessly.
Step One: Select the appropriate radio button to choose one of the following options:
Import from 2nd building (within School District)
Import from other School District (Whole Grade Share)
Helpful Tip: If importing transcripts from another school district as part of a whole-grade sharing arrangement, contact jmc Technical Support at support@jmcinc.com.
Step Two: Select the "Year", "Building" and "Grade" from the appropriate drop-down lists in the "Source" section to define the student records to import.
Helpful Tip: Place a checkmark in the "Only Import Courses That Count Towards Graduation Credit" checkbox to limit the records included in the import.
Step Three: Click the "Import" button to complete the transcript import.
