My Perifit Care(+) is dislocated

How to identify the issue and what to do next

Updated this week

The base of your Perifit Care(+) can experience two different issues.
It’s important to identify which one applies to you so you know the right next steps.

1. Dislocated Base (also called “snapped base”)

Symptoms:

  • You heard a click sound

  • The white base looks slightly shifted out of place

  • The probe is still fully intact (no opening, no gap, nothing broken apart)

This is a mechanical dislocation, not damage.
It does not affect the sensors.

How to “snap it back”

  1. Gently push the lower part of the white base toward the opposite side.

  2. You should hear the same click sound.

  3. The base should return to its normal position.

Check the sensors

Open the Practice Lab in the Exercises tab of the app:

  • If the green pin goes up when you contract

  • And the red pin stays low
    → Everything is working normally.

If the sensors don’t behave as expected, please reach out to our support team via the ? button of the app's main screen so we can help.

2. Broken Base (cover popped open or separated)

Symptoms:

  • The white base has popped open

  • A gap is visible

  • Parts appear separated or broken

  • The probe cannot be “snapped back” into its shape

This is not something you can fix at home.

In this situation, please contact our support team directly via the ? button of the app so we can:

  • Examine the issue

  • Check your warranty status

  • Arrange the appropriate solution for you
