I can no longer reach the top of the screen / the game becomes too difficult

You might find that as you progress through your training session, reaching those top targets becomes a real challenge. It can feel frustrating when the game becomes too difficult, and you're struggling to keep up.

Cause

There are a few reasons why this might be happening.

  • Sometimes, the probe may have shifted inside your body, causing the sensors to be in a different position than during calibration.

  • Other times, it could be due to fatigue in your pelvic floor muscles, especially if you've been training intensively.

  • Also, if you accidentally contract during a relaxation phase, the app adjusts the game accordingly, making the game harder than before.

Solution

Don't worry, there are ways to overcome this hurdle and make your training sessions more manageable:

  • Readjust the position of the probe to ensure the sensors are in the right position. If you have a Perifit Care+, use the silicone ring provided with it to ensure the probe stays in place, or contact our support team so we can send you one.

  • Recalibrate. Pelvic muscles fatigue quickly, which is why we recommend recalibrating regularly throughout your session so that the games remain doable and adapted to your strength of the moment.

  • Take a break if you're feeling fatigued. Rest is just as important as training.

  • Be mindful of your relaxation time and avoid contracting when you're supposed to be relaxing. This will help prevent the app from adjusting the difficulty level unnecessarily.
