Email sequences in your AI funnels let you describe the follow-ups you want to send in plain English and have it written for you. You say what the emails should do, and your AI assistant writes them, sets the delays between them, and personalizes them with your contact's details.

When you build a funnel with AI, you can have AI create an email sequence for you too. Describe the follow-up sequence you want, and AI will write the emails, set the delay between them, and add personalization like your contact's first name.

There are two ways you can add email follow-ups to your AI funnel:

Start by connecting the Perspective MCP to your AI assistant and building your AI funnel. You can create emails while you're building the funnel or later.

Once the funnel is built, your AI assistant offers you the next steps, and one of them is setting up a follow-up email sequence. Pick that and your AI assistant will write the emails and add them to your AI funnel via Perspective MCP.

Name the AI funnel you want to add the emails to and describe what the emails should do, for example: "Add an email sequence to my "Solar installation" funnel that delivers a lead magnet, and then follows up two days later."

In both cases, your AI assistant may ask clarifying questions about the email's content and specify which email sender it should use.

Keep in mind that it can only offer you sender email addresses that already exist in your workspace in Perspective. You cannot add a new email sender from your AI assistant. That has to be done in your Perspective account in the Workspace settings.

Your AI assistant then writes the sequence and saves it as a draft. Once you review it, you can ask your AI assistant to publish it, or do it yourself directly in Perspective.

You can create emails for your AI funnel directly in Perspective while you build the funnel, or any time afterwards.

When you create a new AI funnel, one of the questions Perspective asks you is "Should we set up email follow-up sequences for this funnel?"

Choose the fitting sequence from the suggestions and it will be written along with the funnel. Choose No sequences needed if you'd rather not have one, or if you want to add it yourself later.

If you prefer to work from Claude or ChatGPT, you can edit your email sequence from your AI assistant using the Perspective MCP. Describe the change you want and your AI assistant will update the sequence for you. Or you can make the same changes directly in Perspective.

Switch the floating toolbar at the bottom of the funnel editor from Test to Edit, then click the part of the email you want to change. A toolbar will appear with the settings or the editing options for that element. For some elements, like text, you need to double-click on the element to start editing.

If you don't see an option for what you want to do, describe the change in the AI Chat instead. Clicking an element also hands it to the AI Chat as a labelled reference, so your AI assistant knows exactly which part of the email you mean.

Check your buttons before you publish your email. Your AI assistant uses a placeholder link like https://example.com when it doesn't know your real URL yet, so replace those with your own links.

To ensure that you send out the updated version of the email, you need to republish the sequence.
