How to isolate selected records or elements in a view
Once you have selected a set of records or elements using any combination of table searchs, filters, sorts and/or saved views, you can then isolate the chosen records to review prior to export. This feature is available in both the table view and within the Elements app.
Show selected within a table
To display only the chosen records in a table view, start by making your selections. Next, click on the "Show selected" checkmark icon located in the top panel of the table.
To return the table to its original state, click the checkmark icon again (which is bolded when active).
Record selections will be maintained until cleared. To clear, click “Clear selection” on the top panel.
Show selected only in the Elements app side panel
In the top left of the Elements side panel, click “Show selected only” to isolate the selected elements.
The selected elements will correspond to the selected records in your table.
Show selected only in an expanded Elements app window
In the expanded Elements app, you can search for a combination of design assets by keyword (in the search bar) or by using the Advanced options feature to filter, sort or apply saved views. Make selections as you see fit, then click Show selected only to isolate.
To revert back, click Show all.
Elements selections will be maintained until cleared. To clear, click “Clear selection” on the top panel.
Please note: While filters, keyword searches and saved views are a great way to locate and select specific records or design assets, they need to be cleared for all selections to display when the “Show selected” feature is applied. If they are not cleared, only records or elements that meet the specified criteria will appear in the view.
