Overview:
When a vendor delivers finished files, customers have 3 days to review the delivered work and:
Request Revisions
Dispute the order
Accept the work
After 3 days, the project will be automatically accepted and marked as completed. Once this takes place, the project can no longer be disputed or refunded and the vendor is no longer obligated to complete any revisions.
Requesting Revisions:
When the vendor delivers the project, you will see 3 options within the service details page (Click the service within a project.):
If the vendor delivers a project that needs additional work, it is always best practice to request revisions and provide detailed feedback to the vendor so he can improve his work and your deliverables.
1. Click "Request Revisions."
2. You'll notice the "Comment" button now says "Start a revision request."
>> For images, you can:
Leave requests on the whole service (best for general revisions that apply to most or all of the images).
Select multiple images to leave the same request on all selected images.
Add a request on an individual image.
On the right side, instead of comments, you will see all of the revisions requests. They will be labeled as "Unsubmitted" until you complete your revision request by clicking "Submit your Revision Request." The number in parenthesis indicates the total number of requests you added, not the total number of images to be revised.
>> For video, you can annotate the video at each point where you'd like a revision. Once you have added all of your requests for a video, you can submit your revision request.
3. When the revision request is submitted:
The status of the project will change to "Requested Revisions."
Each request will show as "Submitted."
The vendor will be notified about your requests. See below for details on expected turnaround times.
As the vendor completes your requests, he can reply to you and is also expected to resolve each request.
Once he has resolved all of your revision requests, he will submit revisions, which will then notify you.
4. You can review previous versions of the revised files by clicking the menu (3 dots in the top right corner of an image) and toggling to a previous version.
Important Notes:
Once the vendor has submitted the revisions, you again have 3 days to review the revisions, dispute the order, approve it, or request additional revisions.
After 3 days, the project will be automatically approved and completed.
If the vendor failed to deliver all of the files for your project, you should request revisions from the vendor and notify him that files are missing. This is the only way the vendor will be able to upload additional files to your project. (Once delivered, the vendor is unable to upload more files until you request revisions.)
Replying to a notification email from Pixlmob will not initiate this process or send your comments to the vendor (editor). Similarly, leaving a comment on an image or service does not initiate the revisions process and the order will still automatically be completed after 3 days.
Turnaround Time:
For ASAP orders, the customer has 15 minutes to request revisions from a vendor.
Once requested, the vendor will work on those revisions right away and deliver them as quickly as possible.
After 15 minutes, the customer can still request revisions but the vendor will have 12 hours to complete them.
For standard (non-ASAP) orders, the typical turnaround for revisions mirrors the vendor's listed turnaround time for that service. For example, if the vendor's turnaround time for HDR is 12 hours and for Property Video is 24 hours, his revision turnaround time is the same.
