Some clubs have seen payment errors, or are unsure whether their Stripe account is still properly connected, after moving to PLAI 3.0. Here is what is going on and what to do.
Common symptoms
Members trying to pay for a shop item or membership see an error such as "Membership Subscription stripe price not configured" or “No such destination path”.
Your club's Stripe connection status looks unclear, and you are not sure whether you need to re-enter your details.
A payment fails even though the correct Stripe account appears to be selected in PLAI.
Why this happens
For some clubs, the Stripe account details that were carried over during migration did not fully link up on our side, even though your club's actual Stripe account is fine. This is a known issue our team is actively working through.
What to do
Check your Stripe connection status in the Your Club section. Go to your Club Page > Admin Tab > Your Club > Stripe Account.
If you see a "Disconnected" status, and/or no Stripe accounts linked here, this may be the cause of the issue. Do not disconnect or reconnect Stripe yourself. Instead, contact support with a screenshot of the exact error message.
If you are simply unsure whether your account is connected correctly, contact support to confirm, rather than re-entering your details. Reconnecting can sometimes create a second, separate connection instead of fixing the original one.
Important: You should not normally need to re-enter your Stripe details after migration. If a payment error appears, treat it as a migration issue to report, not something to fix by reconnecting.
FAQ
Do I need to reconnect my Stripe account? Not unless support asks you to. In most cases the fix needs to happen on our side.
Why is a payment failing even though the right Stripe account shows in the app? In some cases, the payment is still trying to use an older, previously connected account behind the scenes. Report the exact error message so this can be traced and corrected.
