How does Core work?

Core is the first paid tier on Plasma One. It gives you higher cashback rates, lower fees, AI subscription credits, priority support, and more. It is designed for users who want to use Plasma One as their main spending account.

During the promotional period, Core is free for the first 7 days from launch. After that, you can access Core by paying $199 per year or locking 20,000 XPL for 12 months.

Earn cashback on eligible card purchases, paid in XPL.

Your cashback rates are tied to your tier, not your card. All cards on your account benefit from your current tier regardless of which card you use to spend. Note: Visa benefits however are tied to the specific card used to make the purchase.

Cashback is calculated at the point your transaction settles or is captured, not when it is authorised.

Cashback is currently paid out weekly (currently on Thursdays). Rewards may remain pending for several days after a transaction posts and vest only at the end of the pending period. Payout timing may change.

Earn boosted cashback on eligible purchases at AI merchants including ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and more.

Core includes up to $8 per month toward ChatGPT Go, an AI subscription from OpenAI. Credits are paid as a USD rebate to your USD cash balance.

Core includes a range of Visa Signature purchase and travel benefits.

Visa benefits apply to purchases made with the corresponding card. Signature benefits require a Signature card, Infinite benefits require an Infinite card.
